This is a Co-dominant morph and was first produced in 1997. There are many lines of Pastels available today. The more desirable lines hold their yellow color into adulthood and have a lot of blushing. I purchased a variety of Pastels focusing on the different traits of Pastels.

I bought Tobey in hopes to breed him in '08. A couple of weeks later after purchasing him I bought 1.1 adult Pastels. Now I have 2 male Pastels but we have grown quite fond of Tobey and will keep him as a pet with a possibility of breeding.
